After 4 winning weeks from 5, we hit a bump in the road in week 12.
I kind of had a feeling that week 12 wasn't going to be friendly to us. That's why I made only 4 picks total, our lowest of the season. The truth is that sometimes a slate simply screams a lot of favorite wins, and that was the case last week.
Where the 3 - 4 if you count a late flip from Arizona to Seattle - did occur, they were slightly random in nature. The Titans, Browns and Cowboys were each 2 or 3 win teams playing 7 or 8 win teams, and won in slightly improbable circumstances. The Cowboys in particular were incredibly fortunate to win in the circumstances that they did.
Our picks weren't good though, with the exception of the Bears, who had a very good chance to beat Minnesota. The Patriots (ew), Cardinals (picked early) and Chargers were all picks that never felt like 'can't miss' opportunities, and in the end, none of them delivered, marking our second scoreless week in 5 years.
