So close to a big, big win, but our second winning week in a row was another positive.
What might have been? Our total profit on the week was +$130, but we picked the Giants, and the G-men throwing away a simple victory with a few seconds left cost us a +£355 week. I think the pick was a good one, though, and I can live with losses on such fine margins, but it sucks because that would have been our biggest week of the season so far.
The other one that got away was the Dolphins covering the spread in the closing minutes of their win over the Patriots. That meant that while we're now up +$205 in our straight up picks, our spread picks remain less effective, even if we're 3-2 on them over the last 2 weeks.
Also, a side note - The Colts moved from favorite to underdog last week. We don't count those picks as underdog picks unless we send an email or notification explicitly adding them to our existing picks. We also didn't count the Chargers in week 3 in the same circumstances, even though that pick won, so we're consistent in how we do it.
