We hit on picks of the Jags and Falcons to win outright, and the Bears and Vikings to cover - the latter after holding on to find out the 49ers injury situation. Annoyingly, we were close to taking both of those covers as outright underdogs in our analysis, but in the end opted for the cover.

We're still waiting to break the big one that we have regularly had in the past, but apart from the Lions (let us never speak of them again after that), what was encouraging was that both the Cardinals and Chargers did have chances to give us a much stronger week. For a long time, Arizona were hanging with Seattle, and had chances to win, while the Chargers had multiple opportunities to tie the game up with the Chiefs.

The only disappointment? We had the Steelers and Broncos near the bottom of our confidence rankings for favorite wins, and in hindsight, switching out the Cardinals for either one would have generated an even bigger win on the week.
