Week 14 finally saw things break our way, landing a profit of +$290, and it was very nearly a lot more. Had the Rams won in overtime against the Ravens, that would have been a significant +$600 profit, but with 3 of our 5 underdog picks winning (The Patriots, Broncos and Bills), we can still take heart.

That win puts the column back into profit on the season. It's been a long road, and there have been times during the last 6 weeks when few underdogs were winning in the NFL, that I wondered if it'd be possible to get to this stage. Thankfully, some tactical awareness - we've limited the number of picks and focused more on winners than covers - has seen us improve steadily.

We're now +$555 in the last five weeks (that's a lot of fives), so the next few weeks will need to be carefully managed to generate profit without risking too much.
