Another winning week from our top picks, and we also picked every underdog winner possible.

Last week was a strange one, that just about went in our favor. The winner picks were pretty good, and most importantly, the only 3 possible underdog winners - the Steelers, Eagles and Seahawks - were all on our slate of 5 underdogs to win.

We also hit on the Bears to cover, and they almost won, so all in all some strong picks. Overall, the season has been tough, with this the second-lowest number of underdog winners in a season since 2013 to this point.

Year Upsets Weeks with 3 or fewer underdog wins
2013 57 3
2014 64 2
2015 70 2
2016 68 4
2017 60 5
2018 63 4
2019 67 4
2020 73 1
2021 76 0
2022 68 2
2023 60 4
2024 59 5

Obviously, that's made life a little harder than normal, but we'll get there, it just means being super careful in these last 4 weeks to maximize the opportunities.

Parlays

I also started a new strategy in week 12 using our score projections. If you're in our Discord, you'll know that people post parlays and slips, well in week 12, I started using our scoreline projections - posted every week in the Discord - to bet alternative points and 'Both teams to reach x points' at Bet365.

Example of alternative points:

and an example of the both teams to score

Neither are huge money despite the large number of selections (10+) but at 7-10x your money, they're not a bad flyer to take, particularly as - provided you avoid the teams that are most likely to lay a goose egg - the thresholds for each selection winning are quite low.

In week 12, I missed by a couple of picks (the 49ers were one!) but in week 13 I hit on both ten-fold selections, returning a 7.5x wager and a 9x wager. That included the last second score by the Ravens to take them over the 15 point total I'd selected in that game - phew!

Anyway, I'll be positing my selections this week in the parlays channel on our Discord, which is available to Pro and VIP users.

Top picks

Another winning week as we went 3-2, with the Steelers, Seahawks, and Bears (cover) all winning from that top section, while the Giants and Saints fell short.

All underdog picks

We hit on the Eagles, which was a big pick that really should have been a winner, but slipped down after the Seahawks and Steelers were bumped up. We also lost on Miami, who did NOT play well in the snow at all.

Points total picks

6-10, not a great week, as the weather failed to materialize in most games and that turned many of our 'under' picks on their head.
