Going up on a bye week is quite 2020 - just by existing and not dying, Green Bay are winners.

2

=

4-1

Losing to divisional rivals is going to happen to the best of teams, but right now, are the Chiefs the best? That's their third below par performance in 4 weeks, the Raiders are the only ones who punished them.

3

=

5-0

Seattle has demonstrated that they can win any shootout going, their next challenge? Stop teams scoring on them, they rank 27th in points allowed.

4

Another week, another team unable to deal with the Ravens D. Can they do it against the big teams? They have a chnace to prove it in a 5 game run from weeks 7-12, The Steelers twice, the Pats, the Titans and Colts will all show us what this team is made of.

5

2

4-0

The Steelers are scoring almost 30pts per game, good enough for 5th this time last season, but only 10th in a big scoring 2020. Allowing just 64 yards on the ground each game helps balance that out.

6

3

  4-0

And like that, everyone forgot about Covid. The Titans are as well-rounded a team as you'll see in the NFL and rank first in turnover differential. Who thought we'd ever say that about a Ryan Tannehill-led team.

7

1

2-2

The Pats have the distinction of being one of the first teams to have a game moved to the following week because of Covid. Will it hurt them? Probably not, as it gets them Cam Newton back.

8

4-1

The Rams move to second spot in the NFC West by virtue of their easy road victory over Washington. They gave up just 70 yards passing and 38yds rushing. Formidable.

9

4

4-1

The Browns continue to surge. OBJ becoming a factor alongside Jarvis Landry has changed their season. They didn't miss a beat without Nick Chubb and have gained 100yds+on the ground in every game so far.

10

5

4-1

This isn't an overreaction, the Bills are somewhere around this region and have been all season in these rankings, last week I pegged them 5th in a fit of positivity. Back in your box you go.

11

3-2

That was a statement win. Everything fired in the Raiders victory over Kansas City, and if convincingly beating the best team in the league can't get you up these rankings, what can?

12

=

3-2

The Colts are utterly flawed on offense and rank bottom half in points, passing and rushing yards. They also rank 22nd with 5 interceptions thrown but their saving grace is a defense that has 9 picks of it's own.

13

9

 4-1

Ok as a Bears fan, I'm allowed to overreact to losses, which also means I'm fine to bump the Bears back into the playoff spots. It's still pretty mediocre stuff but beating the Bucs was no fluke. They need a run game though, 27th in the league will put more pressure on the QB(s).

14

6

3-2

HEY EVERYBODY, AN OLD MAN'S TALKING! Who would have pegged the Bucs D as their strength in 2020? They could do with Chris Godwin back though as there are at least 2 or 3 teams who could snatch their playoff dreams away if Tom Brady keeps forgetting where they are, what they're doing (continue until old man falls asleep).

15

3-2

I mean, it was the Jets but ok. This probably says more about the teams that have fallen out of the top 15 than the Cards. Are they now on the playoff bubble if the 49ers slump is legit? In a tough division, winning those gimmes will define their season, and those of their rivals.

16

2-3

The 49ers should never have rolled with Jimmy G on Sunday, in fact I had actually believed earlier in the week that there was very little chance of this happening. Lo and behold, they got Beat. Hard.

17

3-2

I know the Saints are still a winning team, but they almost lost to the Chargers and their rookie QB - who is admittedly looking like the best rookie QB of his class, but I maintain, something is broken in New Orleans and it rhymes with Blue... Peas. And his inability to throw... Drong Trasses.

18

3-2

I love this team. First off, Teddy Bridgewater. Second, Mike Davis, and third coach Matt Rhule. They're kind of flying under the radar, but that's three on the spin for the Panthers and they held the Falcons to just 203 passing yards and no passing TD's. They're a statement win away from legitimacy.

19

1-4

Harsh to fall 3 spots, but teams are getting better and winning games in their zip code. There's definitely a good team here, but they have to start winning soon, not just earning moral victories.

20

=

2-3

Oh hai Miami, no change despite an incredible win? That's because I have had the Dolphins higher than most this season and continue to believe there is a playoff contender trying to get out here. A win against the Jets this week would make them .500 for the first time since week 14 of 2018.

21

-4

 2-3

They could have fallen substantially further. Remember they were taken to the wire by the team averaging the least points in the league, and without Dak (😔) they will struggle to stay in any game giving up 36 (THIRTY SIX) points per game.

22

2

1-2-1

You gain from others losing sometimes, this is just how it is. The Lions didn't even play, but somehow that just adds to their mystique. In all seriousness, a week longer for Kenny Golladay to get healthy will help them make a move in an NFC with a number of teams free-falling out of contention.

23

=

1-4

The Vikings have a problem. They rank 28th on defense and can't stop the pass. They also can't stop the run or throw the ball. Oh and their lead running back just got hurt. Actually now that I think about it, maybe they have more than one problem.

24

1

1-4

I think Gardner Minshew is not the major problem here, but will somehow end up getting the blame. The defense has quietly but effectively undermined Minshew's top-16 QB play and can't get any kind of pass rush. Remember when they traded Calais Campbell? That looks bad now.

25

2

1-3

Like the Pats, they'll be better for the break and the potential return of their starting QB Drew Lock. The Broncos have yet to break the 250yd passing mark this season...

26

-4

 1-3-1

*sings Candle in the Wind 97* Goodbye Cinci's rose... The season is pretty much over, and... oh I've stopped singing by the way, you can read this normally. The Bengals are overmatched and will be in their next 4 games - Indy, Cleveland, Tennessee and Pittsburgh.

27

1-4

Well done on winning a game I guess. Romeo Crennel is probably not going to squeeze many more wins from a tough schedule, so beating the Jags twice is probably the best they can hope for. Maybe if the Jags don't call a fumble on 4th down, this game was different though... still work to do.

28

2

1-3-1

Back down to earth for the Flipadelphia Pigeon Boys. The Eagles had a chance, it didn't work out. I expect them to climb pretty steadily, however, as after Baltimore this week, they will face the Giants (twice) and Dallas. Could a 4-4-1 record be in first place in the NFC East by then? Um... yes.

29

1

1-4

I love Alex Smith, but I don't want to see him maimed for life trying to eek out a win in a season that could not be more done. They get a bonus point for Smith's presence, but come on. Don't do that. History will judge them unkindly if Smith gets hurt for no wider purpose.

30

-1

0-5

Oh dear. Well at least they fired Dan Quinn eventually. The loss to Carolina was actually deeply flattering, as the Panthers were easily better than a 7 point victory. They'll have an interesting choice if they get anywhere near Trevor Lawrence (spoiler alert: they will draft him if they can).

31

1

0-5

You did it Giants. After a week on the bottom, you finally climb back to 31st place. It's kind of weird, but the Giants D is really good, when you consider that their offense is that bad (scoring 16.2 points per game). Daniel Jones has now gone 4 weeks without a TD pass.

Is it too late to introduce relegation to the XFL?

As I write this, Le'Veon Bell is being released. That's it Jets. take the side of the failed Head Coach you will absolutely, 10,000% fire in the next 3 months instead of the guy who can win football games for you. Idiots.
