It’s officially the best week of the season: Super Bowl Week.

On Sunday, February 8, the Seattle Seahawks will face the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California for Super Bowl LX (60).

From a player's perspective, one of the top storylines of the big game is Sam Darnold's meteoric rise. It was only six years ago that Darnold said he was seeing ghosts while with the Jets. Even after his time with the Jets, he seemed destined to be a journeyman, with a failed stint in Carolina and then serving as a backup in San Francisco.

However, Darnold's breakout year in Minnesota last season boosted his career, leading the Seahawks to sign him to a massive contract in free agency. Now, he could become the first quarterback from that 2018 draft class, which includes Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, to win a Super Bowl.

On the other side, Drake Maye has a chance to mirror the beginning of the career of another legendary New England quarterback. Tom Brady won his first Super Bowl in his second year in the league, which marked the start of a more than decade-long dynasty. Now, Maye has the chance to revive the winning culture in Foxboro in just his second season.
