I had thought this week would see a big change in the Pickwatch standings, but going into the last game of the week it's looking like things won't change dramatically. I'll have a full breakdown tomorrow but lets give you some quick info about who the experts like tonight, if only because this is without doubt the biggest dud on the MNF schedule so far.

NFL Around the League's Marc Sessler had a high number of games picked differently to our joint leaders Chris Mortensen and Seth Wickersham, but in the end The Sizzler and The Danish Discerner managed to cancel each other out with their bad picks, while Wickers only lost one to Sessler. That makes tonight's matchup extra crucial for these guys as both the ESPN-ers have the Jets to win, while The Sizzler has taken Tennessee. There are only 33 games left to bridge the four game gap, so a Tennessee win tonight will make it a three horse race, while a Jets win would likely send the trophy (as yet undecided, considering an old karate trophy from when I was 14) to Bristol. With the increase in airport and postal security, the only thing we can be sure is that whoever wins, the package will be the victim of a 'controlled explosion'* before it arrives.

* I love the idea of a 'controlled explosion' in an airport, but I can't help but feel that anti-terror laws have severely crippled the mail-order clock industry. 'What price freedom?'

So far this week Warren Sapp leads the experts with 12-3 and has gone with the Titans tonight, food for thought if you're looking for a hot picker. Sapp has gone 11-5, 11-5 and now 12-3 over the last 3 weeks so it's certainly not a fluke even if at first glance you treat all of Sapp's analysis and/or prediction as lucky guesses. He is actually making a strong play for the top Gameday Morning picker, particularly after an average week for Mooch and a shocker from Michael Irvin who is currently 7-8.

As for tonight's game, well it may seem like a terrible matchup on paper but remember that potentially both starting QB's and Head Coaches are playing for their jobs over the last few games of the season. If Sanchez crumbles tonight the questions will be asked again of Rex Ryan and someday, he may not be able to answer them. Similarly Jake Locker is probably right on the border of 'let's just give him another year' and a major collapse like last week will have the beat-writers salivating.
