When their protection holds, they can stress defenses at every level of the field. The challenge in this matchup is doing that against a Patriots defense that thrives on disguise, discipline, and forcing quarterbacks to hold the ball.

New England’s path is familiar: slow the game down, win situational football, and make opponents earn everything. Offensively, the Patriots are unlikely to push tempo early, instead focusing on field position and avoiding mistakes. The Pats lean on ball security and field position to keep opponents off balance, and their defense is built for playoff atmospheres

This game projects as a chess match rather than a shootout. Los Angeles has the offensive upside to break it open, but New England’s ability to frustrate opponents and win late with execution gives them a legitimate path.
