Well if you watched last night's mauling of the Ravens at the hands of the Broncos (can horses maul?) then you already know: The season is over. Peyton Manning is the greatest ever and everybody else is just a small-foreheaded idiot.

For those of you keeping track of which way our experts are picking this week's games, you can visit the tab at the top to see this week's picks in detail. Almost everyone has picked now, with only a few stragglers-slash-astute observers still yet to file their picks this week.

Like a walnut, you'd imagine.

While you're there, check out the new 'Confidence Index' at the bottom of the page, letting you know how strongly the experts favour the consensus bets pick in each matchup. You can also keep tabs of individual winning percentages on the right of the page. And if you couldn't work that out yourself, you really have no business being near the technology needed to access the internet at all.

Starting next week, I'll be breaking down our Top 5 and Bottom 5 Expert panels, giving you a good idea of which way last year's most reliable analysts are picking this week. The top five are Seth Wickersham and Chris Mortensen (ESPN), Marc Sessler and Michael Silver (NFL), and NFL.com's fan picks, which should throw up some kind of reliable consensus one way or another. The top 5 will vary as this season goes on to reflect who is hot as a pistol, and who is colder than a penguin's testicles.

This is the part of the post where I do a PFT-esque sign off.

For our pickers, they'll just be hoping that their confidence isn't misplaced.

Nailed it.
