Shane Bieber takes the mound for Toronto, bringing quality command, while New York counters with Carlos Rodón, who must deliver a stable performance after shaky results earlier.

The Blue Jays will lean heavily on their depth and bullpen flexibility. Toronto’s lineup hasn’t relied on just one or two hitters — contributions have come from multiple spots — which makes them dangerous against a pitching staff on edge. The Yankees, meanwhile, must tighten defensive execution and get on base via small ball as they attempt to chip away at Toronto's lead.
