Los Angeles Rams (-2.5) @ Seattle Seahawks
I want to like the Seahawks here in what should be a shootout at home, but nothing the team has done this year makes me confident they’ll play up to that expectation. Pick: Rams
New York Jets @ Atlanta Falcons (-3)
Complete crapshoot game with two young teams headed to London. I’ll take the better team on paper and the quarterback who’s been in this situation before. Pick: Falcons
Green Bay Packers (-3) @ Cincinnati Bengals
There’s an outside chance this is a trap game for the Packers, but while the Bengals have been good, the Packers have been elite since Week 2. They could drop 50 here and none of us would be that surprised. Pick: Packers
Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings (-7.5)
The Lions have (had?) the talent to make this a close game, but the Vikings are at home and the Lions are slowly succumbing to injuries on a roster that wasn’t all that talented to begin with. Pick: Vikings
Denver Broncos (-1) @ Pittsburgh Steelers
This game depends a lot on who suits up at QB for the Broncos, but...honestly, Drew Lock would still be the best QB in this game against Ben Roethlisberger right now. I’m taking the Broncos no matter what. Pick: Broncos
Miami Dolphins @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-10)
The only question is if the Buccaneers beat them by 10 points or by 30. I think it’s the latter. Pick: Buccaneers
New Orleans Saints (-1.5) @ Washington Football Team
The hardest game to pick this week for all of the wrong reasons. I’m going with the home team, but I’m done hoping for their defense to pick it up. Pick: WFT
Philadelphia Eagles @ Carolina Panthers (-3.5)
The Panthers are the much better team here and should win handily at home...the curveball comes in with how they handle a mobile QB they’re not used to seeing. Crazier things should happen, but I’m going with the chalk. Pick: Panthers
Tennessee Titans (-4) @ Jacksonville Jaguars
We’re all really worried about the Titans right now, but we’re not going to be worried when they head to Jacksonville, healthy, and pick apart the Jags. Pick: Titans
New England Patriots (-9.5) @ Houston Texans
The Patriots aren’t “blow out mediocre teams” good, but they’re good enough to blow out one of the worst teams in recent football memory. Pick: Patriots
Chicago Bears @ Las Vegas Raiders (-5.5)
The Raiders ran into a great team flying high on all cylinders when they played the Chargers on Monday Night Football. The Bears are...not that. Look for the Raiders to explode offensively against a defensive backfield that can’t match up. Pick: Raiders
Cleveland Browns @ Los Angeles Chargers (-2.5)
On paper, these teams are about equal. On the field, the Chargers have played much better this season. They’re at home here as well. Browns fall, and I’m not sure it should be that close. Pick: Chargers
New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys (-7)
Last week, the Giants did everything right offensively. That’s not going to happen against a tough Cowboys defense that flies around the field. This game should be a shootout until the Giants’ mistakes start catching up to them. Pick: Cowboys
San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals (-5.5)
These were evenly matched teams at the beginning of the season, but the Cardinals are playing some of the best football on both sides of the ball in the league and have a MVP-caliber QB. Pick: Cardinals
Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs (-3)
Yet another top game in Sunday Night Football, and this one is tough to pick for a lot of reasons. The Bills are playing better football right now and while this is tough to do against a very good Chiefs team on the road, I’m taking the Bills to get the road upset. Pick: Bills
Indianapolis Colts @ Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)
The Colts can keep this one close with the running game, but the Ravens are the much better team at home. Pick: Ravens
