This week I will be overhauling the site on my week off, adapting some of the tables so they can be used on non-NASA spec computers, while also adding some new statistics that will hopefully give us a deeper look at which analysts are most reliable in any given situation.

Just a close up of some stats. For a 'fun game', try
and work out who the analysts are! - After doing so,
please have a word with yourself and never do
anything so bloody ridiculous again. Ever
.

First up is the addition of a 'Clutch Pickers' ranking. This is tremendously useful when picking tight games, as it compares the correct pick percentages of each expert in those games where the overall consensus (found at the bottom of the 'Weekly Picks' Page)was under 75%.

As we all know, there are many games each week that could be picked without even a cursory examination of the relative merits of the two teams. Any game featuring the Jaguars for example... But the other side of that coin (which by the way is VERY unreliable based on my findings so far) is that there are often 5+ matchups each week that are extremely difficult to pick.

The Clutch Pickers have shown that they pick well in these tight games each week. As you can see, the page allows you to view not only the overall score, but also the weekly percentage of close games the experts have picked right.

Coming later in the week are more experts, more new stats and some historical data that will cover this season and last. As always, you can keep up to date with all things Pickwatch related on the official Pickwatch Twitter feed.
