Dallas Cowboys (3–5–1) @ Las Vegas Raiders (2–7) Preview

Dallas arrives off their bye week needing a win to keep any hope of a playoff push alive in the NFC. Their offense remains one of the league’s most explosive—top five in scoring and total yards—but their defense lies among the worst in points allowed (~30.8 per game) and yards surrendered (~397.4 per game).

Las Vegas, meanwhile, is in full rebuild/repair mode. The Raiders’ offense has been anemic, averaging just ~15.4 points per game (31st in the league). They also have a severely depleted offensive line and a turnover-prone quarterback situation with backup depth starting.

As for key storylines, the Cowboys’ new defensive additions (DT Quinnen Williams, LB Logan Wilson) may begin to shift momentum on that side of the ball, and they travel to a Vegas front that is vulnerable up front and at cornerback depth. For the Raiders, edge rusher Maxx Crosby remains the lone stalwart on defense, and their only shot lies in forcing turnovers and playing keep-away.

Given the spread and total, the market is expecting Dallas to win and somewhat control this game—though the Raiders at home +3.5 may offer value if they can protect the ball and generate at least one explosive drive.
