Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season delivered drama. Of the 16 games, 12 were decided by one possession, including all four of the nationally televised primetime games.

From a wagering perspective, bettors who backed the under cashed in big, with 11 of 12 early games going below the total. When it came to prop betting, one of the biggest surprises came from Colts QB Daniel Jones, who scored 3 total TDs in his debut.

NFL Week 2 Preview

While Week 2 could be another week of surprise performances from players, we'll be looking at players who have shown consistency for some prop betting opportunities.

Bears vs. Lions highlights the Sunday slate, with new Chicago head coach Ben Johnson returning to Detroit for the first time since leaving as Lions OC, and two former No. 1 overall draft picks dueling under center in Jared Goff and Caleb Williams. The Colts had one of the more surprising wins on Sunday, but Jones has a big test against a Broncos defense that was third in points allowed last year.

The premier matchup of the late Sunday slate is a Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs trying to avenge their loss to the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. Monday night gives us a doubleheader with the Texans hosting the Buccaneers and an AFC West matchup between the Chargers and the Raiders.
