I'm over a month into Arbitrage betting, and things are going great overall. However, I'm entering a tough stretch in the sports calendar.

Football season is officially over after the Seahawks defeated the Patriots in Super Bowl 60, and now, us fellow sports bettors are faced with the NBA All-Star Break and a break from the NHL with the Winter Olympics.

Because of this tough timing, it's seeming like there won't be many Arbitrage opportunities for a bit, as the NBA will not resume until February 19, and the NHL is on break until February 25.

That being said, the Pickwatch Arbitrage Bet Finder has now added NCAA Basketball. With college basketball now in the mix, there will be at least some chances to build some bankroll while we wait until the NBA and NHL pick back up.

Arbitrage Betting: College Sports & State-by-State Regulations

Initially, when I saw college basketball was added to the BetSmart Arbitrage Bet Finder, it seemed like a great replacement with football season over.

There are over 360 NCAA Division 1 Basketball teams. These teams typically play 2 games per week, so theoretically, there should be seemingly endless chances to reap the benefits of guaranteed Arbitrage profit.

In fact, today alone, there are 131 college basketball games! And this is just a regular Saturday in the college basketball season.

Unfortunately, I was reminded that there are several laws and regulations that limit the ability to bet on college sports, specifically in the state I'm in now. In Arizona, like in many other states, Prop Betting on college sports is not allowed.

While there are still some NCAA Basketball Arbitrage bets for me, my opportunities will be limited.

That being said, if you're in a state like Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri or North Carolina, there will be many chances for you. Here's an example of some College Basketball Arbitrage Bets that were available today in those states:

While it's unfortunate many of us won't be able to do much Arbitrage betting in the next week or two, there are still things we can do in the meantime to prepare for an action-packed Spring.
