The Home Run Derby kicks off the All-Star break festivities in Los Angeles tonight as Pete Alonso of the New York Mets is looking to go back-to-back-to-back.
Alonso will headline a field that includes Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals, Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves, Julio Rodriguez of the Seattle Mariners, Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillies, Corey Seager of the Texas Rangers, Juan Soto of the Washington Nationals, and Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Guardians.

Derby Rules:
- Single-Elimination
- Batters get three minutes during the first two rounds, with one timeout
- The final round is two minutes, with one timeout
- There are 30 seconds of bonus time after each round, and an additional 30 seconds for multiple HRs over 440 feet
- If there is a tie, a 60-second swing-off will occur, if it remains a tie, the batters will engage in a three-swing swing-off until there is a winner
