It's been a funny old year.
When Pickwatch began, it was purely for my own amusement, a way of genuinely using the information just to see if there were big disparities in the reliability of NFL media personalities. Even at the end of last season, when we had thousands of weekly hits, I didn't imagine it even getting as far as it has today, where we track our hits in the hundreds of thousands, soon to be millions.
Pickwatch is a small site in the grand scheme of things, but we will continue to work hard for you and give you as much information as possible, while constantly adding new features or adapting existing ones to suit what you, the fans, want. We're completely independent, and we make Pickwatch for the love of what we do, not for the hits. Or something.
And now, with Pickwatch Phil on board, we now have the extra security of knowing that should I stick my face in a fan one day, the show can go on. I know from talking to some of you that this site is a valuable resource that you visit every week, and all I want is to continue building on that support.
So all that aside, I'd just like to take this opportunity to say thanks to everyone who has helped with the site, be that with technical help, suggestions, corrections, or just visiting. Family, friends etc are all that matters and everyone who has been supportive, we really appreciate it.
We try to reply to all of the complimentary - and not so complimentary - emails and messages we get but some will always slip through the net. Well, thanks for everything. We really appreciate it and next year, when we have our new server and all the new features that come with it, we'll continue to appreciate it.
