When it comes time for you to follow someone’s advice with your money on some weekend betting action I would recommend going with the guys who make their living and pay their mortgages based on what they do and do not know about football.

Free College Football Prediction From Raphael Esparza*: *

*Take 'Over' 53.0 Memphis at Tulane (8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14)
*

Tulane comes into this home game well rested and I see the Green Wave keeping this game respectable at home. Memphis is a double-digit road favorite in this game and I see offense being proactive in this game early. Memphis is coming off a win over Temple 34-27 and the Memphis Tigers last three games all three of them have gone over the total. Tulane last two games both of them went over and the Green Wave last home game they scored 41 points against UL-Lafayette. Last year Tulane traveled to Memphis and lost 41-13 and that game went UNDER but this year the Tulane offense is much improved and I see them being able to run the ball against the Memphis defense. Memphis last 7 games being played on Friday night 5 of them have gone OVER and the Green Wave are 4-1 O/U following a straight up win.

Free College Football Prediction From Indian Cowboy**:

***Take #110 Tulane (+12) over Memphis (8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14) *

We roll with Tulane here at home on Friday Night. Memphis is a very good ball club and there is no denying that, as they are 4-1 currently. Having said that we have been on the Tulane bandwagon for quite some time. This team is coached by the former Georgia Southern Head Coach and they are a very well coached team. This is a team that is 3-2 currently and they are on the rise. This is a team that just beat Massachusetts 31-24 on the road, beat ULL 41-39 on the road and lost to Navy by just a touchdown (the same Navy team that beat Houston). Early on in the year when this team hung tough against a good Wake Forrest team losing 3-7 on the road, it started to raise eyebrows that this team is starting to make some waves - no pun intended - and getting better. Memphis comes off a big win against Temple on National Television and is likely in for a let down here. Plus, this team has Navy on deck. We like Tulane to hang tough and likely lose by single-digits in this contest.

Free College Football Prediction From Vernon Croy**:

Take #113 San Diego State (-17) over Fresno State (10 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14)**

Take San Diego State ATS as my free college football pick for Friday, October 14th. This pick falls into one of my top CFB systems and I have the Aztecs winning by 21+ points on the road. The Aztecs are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 games when playing a team with a losing record, and they are also 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Aztecs are 23-8-2 ATS in their last 33 conference games and they are the superior team here Friday night. The Bulldogs are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games after covering the spread in their previous game, and just 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The favorite is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 games played between these two teams and this one has rout written all over it. Play San Diego State ATS with confidence, and make sure you get my 8-Unit NCAA Football Game of the Year that goes Saturday.

Free College Football Prediction From Jason Sharpe**:

Take #142 Clemson (-17) over North Carolina State (Noon, Saturday, Oct. 15)**

This is a tough spot here for a North Carolina State team that's struggled against the better teams in the country the last few years. Lots of excitement for NC State last weekend as they had one of the biggest wins in their football program history beating Notre Dame but the reality is the Irish are way down this year and are nowhere near the level of team that has given this NC State squad problems in the past. Last year NC State was 7-0 overall in games played against non-bowl qualifying teams but they also went 0-6 in their games versus teams that went to a bowl game. The Wolfpack were completely overmatched when they had to play these bowl teams on the road as they lost by an average of over 18 points per game in those contests. They've also lost their last four games to Clemson and it's been by an average of 21 points per game. On the other side of things Clemson has a bye week coming up next weekend meaning their entire focus should be on this game here against the Wolfpack. The Tigers had some troubles early on in the season playing up to expectations but they've started to look a lot more like the elite level team that they were last season over the past couple of weeks. I expect that to continue here in this game with Clemson taking care of business. Lay the points with Clemson in this game.

Free College Football Prediction From Alan Harris**:

Take ‘Over’ 63.5 Kansas State vs. Oklahoma (Noon, Saturday, Oct. 15)**

Two teams that have been trending to the over will meet when the Kansas St. Wildcats hit the road to take on the Oklahoma Sooners at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, OK on Saturday afternoon. The Sooners have posted a perfect 4-0 record to the over in their last four games and they have gone an excellent 7-1 to the over in their last eight home games. They have also gone 7-2 to the over in their last nine games following a win and they have also gone up and over the posted total in 36 of their last 50 Big 12 Conference games. The Wildcats have been an over team as well in the spot they are in here on Saturday afternoon as they have gone 9-2 to the over in their last nine games following a game where they allowed more than 280 yards through the air and they have also gone 4-1 to the over in their last five road games where they listed as an underdog of 8-14 points. They are also an excellent 20-11 to the over in their last 31 games overall and they have gone over the total in ten of their last fifteen games where they faced a team with a winning record. Throw in the fact that these two teams have gone 7-1 to the over in their last eight head to head meetings and that’s where we’ll have our play as our numbers have both teams struggling to get defensive stops in Norman on Saturday afternoon.

Free College Football Prediction From Doc's Sports:**Take #148 Indiana (+3.5) over Nebraska (3:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15)**

Nebraska enters this game at 5-0 but they have yet to record a quality victory on the season. Their win against Oregon looks less and less impressive as the Ducks are in free fall and they had Nebraska on the ropes before they started going for two on each and every score. This will be the toughest game they have played thus far as Indiana stayed with Ohio State and easily covered that spread. The Hoosiers have yet to get run off the field in any of their five games and I expect them to take this game down to the wire as well. Nebraska and Coach Reilly have never been able to handle prosperity and they always seem to lose games that they should not. Indiana has covered the spread in five straight Big 10 games. Free NFL Football Prediction From Robert Ferringo**:

**Take #257 Pittsburgh (-7.5) over Miami (1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 16)

We’ve been on a roll in football lately, posting five of six winning weeks while rattling off $4,500 in profit over the last month. I have gone 4-0 with my 7-Unit football picks this season and I am going to go with another 7-Unit NFL Play on Sunday that you don’t want to miss out on. The Miami Dolphins are huge losers. And what’s worse is that they look like they don’t even care. They are one of the three or four worst teams in the league and, really, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. They were one of the worst teams in football last year and really haven’t upgraded the roster at all. Pittsburgh can light people up due to the sheer depth and breadth of their offensive firepower. Miami has not shown an ability to stop anyone, posting the No. 28 total defense and the No. 32 rushing defense in football. They have given up an average of 26.5 points per game in their last four games and they haven’t faced an offense even close to what Pittsburgh is packing. The Dolphins allowed Cleveland to score 24 and Tennessee to get to 30 for crying out loud. The Steelers could be looking ahead to the Patriots next week. But they all four of their wins this year, including a 38-16 whitewashing of Washington in the opener, have come by at least eight points. Their average margin of victory is nearly 20 points in their four wins and all four of the teams they have beaten are much better than the feeble Fins. Let’s not overthink this one. Pittsburgh should roll.

Free NFL Football Prediction From Strike Point Sports**:

Take #262 San Francisco (+8) over Buffalo (1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 16)**

Easy winner with Detroit last week so let’s do it again here with the 49ers. At 3-2 Buffalo is having a solid start to the season and they are coming into this game winners of their last three games, including a nice shutout victory over the Brady-less New England Patriots. This is a tough spot for the Bills to cover a big number. The 49ers are the type of team the Bills will take for granted as they have a divisional road game following this game, and then they have their second meeting with the Brady-lead Patriots. After this game the 49ers head back home to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then have their bye week. That isn't exactly something to look ahead too. This is one of those games where you watch it and wonder how the Bills aren't running away with it. The 49ers aren't that good, and the Bills are playing really well, but like I said, it is an absolute trap game. Don't be fooled into thinking the Bills are going to run away with this game. The stretch the Bills are on currently is similar to what they have done in the past. Two seasons ago the Bills smashed the Jets, beat Cleveland, played a great Denver team tough, then beat Green Bay. They were rolling, and then somehow managed to lose to the 2-12 Oakland Raiders. Now don't get me wrong, I don't see San Fran winning this game, but they will stay within the number.

Free NFL Football Prediction From Allen Eastman**:

**Take #275 New York Jets (+7.5) over Arizona (8:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17)

I swept my NFL 411 Plays last week, including a 7-Unit NFL 411 blowout with Dallas. My NFL 411 System is 3-1 so far this year and is the only documented pro football system to hit over 60% for the past eight years. This weekend I am releasing my 8-Unit NFL 411 Game of the Year and you don’t want to miss this raging hot selection. I went 7-3 for $2,100 in profit last week and I want to add to that this weekend. In this free play I am going to take the points. The Jets are 1-4. They are desperate. This is not a bad team. They have just had a really difficult schedule. They have closes losses against teams like the Bengals and games against Seattle and Pittsburgh were close in the second half. This is a proud veteran team and I think that they will be ready to play in prime time. Carson Palmer should be back for the Cardinals. But I don’t know if that is a good thing. He was terrible in his first three-and-a-half games this year and Arizona went just 1-3 ATS with him under center. Todd Bowles used to be the defensive coordinator out in Arizona so he will know how to go after Palmer. I like the Jets to keep this one close and maybe even win this game outright.

We hope you enjoy the winners this weekend. Doc’s Sports has a team of staff writers that also publish free pick articles on every single NFL and college game for the entire season.
