Pickwatch is over for another week, but Thursday Night Football means there is no respite, so here's a handy summary of this week's NFL picks...

Bleacher Report's Chris Hansen pulled out a remarkable 13 wins in the toughest week of the season yet, while almost 50% of pickers got 8 or less right. Meanwhile, someone who shall remain nameless - and who definitely doesn't write a blog devoted entirely to picking games - may or may not have finished dead last.

Ahem.

In the overall standings, B/R#s Matt Miller loses top spot on a tie breaker (games won this week) to CBS's Fantasy resident Jamey 'Not Jesse' Eisenberg. Apparently Miller is celebrating/not-sleeping-because-of a new addition to his household. No, not a new lawnmower, although that IS a priority according to my sources. No, Miller has had a baby and there's no going back now. The mower will have to wait.

Between them, ESPN, CBS and B/R make up 9 of our top 10 pickers on the year so far. Check out the overall standings to be in awe of these guys, while taking time out to occasionally chuckle at those nearer the bottom.

I the Network Standings, ESPN rocket to the top with an impressive 72.6% record on the season. They are joined in second by the Yahoo! boys who leap from 6th after a good week. The smaller groups of pickers should do well when they're on form, but will plummet quicker than a 1920's Wall Street banker should they mess up. The NFL guys had a sorry week that has left them way off the pace, perilously close to the 60% marker that denotes when people are just guessing based on last year's records.

Next week I will be adding probably the coolest - and arguably most useful - stat to the site so far. I'm just going to tease, but suffice to say almost anyone could pick New England to beat Tampa Bay (some didn't for the record...), it's whether you can pick the harder games that matters to the Pickwatch readers.
As always, stay out of trouble and with the news that Blaine Gabbert is back, let me as always sign off with my trademark catchphrase: Never, ever pick the Jags.
