Well that went well... after picking the Packers and backing the Mighty Flynn to save his career, I feel any chat about my own picks would be moderately insulting to you.** Anyway here's our guide to the Thanksgiving contests, featuring the consensus picks and analysis of which horse our experts have tied their carts to. As always, check out all of this week's picks here.**

Oakland @ Dallas

Consensus Pick: Dallas 99%

Top 5 Experts: Dallas 100%

Ok, so let's not beat around the bush here: The Cowboys are big favorites to beat the Raiders and it isn't hard to figure out why. They are actually an odd team to predict... if you're me. Oh come on... who scheduled this? What's that? Same for how many years? Whatever.

Answers on a postcard please...

Somehow today's matchups feature the two teams I am absolutely abysmal at picking, the Lions and Cowboys. There are probably others if we're honest, but we're not here to mock me, we're here to mock the Raiders. How can they ruin Matt McGloin? What will they do to mess up the two QB's with the most potential they have seen in over a decade? My guess is that they will somehow make a play for a QB in FA or the draft that completely undermines both McGloin and Terrelle Pryor, before shipping one/both out and watching them become viable starters elsewhere. Other alternatives include lining him up at Punter while they check out Marquette King's scrambling ability, or making him Seabass's full time holder. Yeah that's right... HOLDEN MCGLOIN.

Anyway, tortured intros aside, the experts are massively in favor of Dallas, so much so in fact, that only Pickwatch's favorite Around the League dude Marc Sessler has managed to clamber aboard the good ship McGloin today. The Cowboys are arguably not worthy of being 99% faves against anyone given their inconsistencies, but it would be silly to bet against them in reality. Sessler's record picking the Raiders away (60%) and the Cowboys at home (80%) is not bad, however he is way down our list of experts, with almost all picking the Raiders better than him, and over half of NFL analysts (all of whom pick the 'boys today) getting every Cowboys home game right.

Basically: If this comes off, the Sizzler (who finished 4th last year) will be back, and even better, off the back of a Cowboys defeat at home on national TV. Let's face it, that's what 95% of humans want deep down. Yeah, even today...
