Happy Thanksgiving Pickwatchers! I hope you are all enjoying your day and that the football gives us an extra reason to be thankful today. I mainly say this because the Oakland/Dallas game looks like a complete let down... Anyway here's our guide to the Thanksgiving contests, featuring the consensus picks and analysis of which horse our experts have tied their carts to. Or something. As always, check out all of this week's picks here.

Green Bay @ Detroit

Consensus Pick: Detroit 90%

Top 5 Experts: Detroit 100%

Does it get any more gripping than the two NFC North rivals battling it out for a playoff spot? Well... yes. Frankly, the Packers are in dissarray following Aaron Rodgers's injury, and with the Packers in danger of falling two games back and handing back their tie-breaker advantage (having beaten the Lions in week 6), the game could well be their ticket out of the NFC hunt. Despite this added meaning to the game, it's surely hard to get excited about a game the Lions should win easily right?

Well, again, think again buster (god you are presumptuous) I've picked the Packers because I believe in them. Even as a Bears fan, I've learned never to count them out, and Matt Flynn looked like the Matt Flynn who showed poise when he was in his first stint backing up Rodgers last week. I think his decline was hugely exaggerated and at least partly as a result of some pretty difficult circumstances.

As for our experts, almost all of them have taken Detroit. Of those picking the Packers, Top 15 expert Sam Monson of ProFootballFocus has a 60% record picking the Pack on the road, but an 80% record picking the Lions at home. Of course, if you want a reason to pick the Lions? I'm 0% picking them at home this year.

Wow.

Did not know that. Is it too late to switch back?

As always, let us know what you think on Twitter, and check back later for our previews of the rest of the Thanksgiving lineup.
