Marc Sessler has sent me word that the NFL Around the League guys posted their picks away from the main NFL pick hub. All of the guys had a big week of 11-5 or more last week, which puts the cat amongst the pigeons as far as our overall standings and my - now ruined - spreadsheets. Thanks guys!

In all seriousness this is good news because we don't want The Sizzler getting bunked from the overall standings purely because he didn't pick at all. It was with a heavy heart that I knocked him down 20 places and put Hanzus down to the bottom of our standings, so finding out they did actually pick and did well (Sessler went 12-4) gave me a warm glow that definitely has nothing to do with my Christmas diet of meat and beer.

The race for the top is in full flow with just 2 picks separating the top 4 pickers. They are The Danish Discerner Chris Mortensen, Seth 'Wickers' Wickersham, Mike 'Long John' Silver and of course, The Sizzler Marc Sessler*.

* - Incidentally kudos to the Rhino Jim Reineking for calling Marc 'The Sizzler' on NFL.com. That can buy you a lot of goodwill in the Pickwatch end of season review. It beats McNabb, who offered 'payment in kind. This reporter made his excuses and left...

Here we go then, the penultimate and vital Pickwatch Week 16 Standings:

I can hardly contain myself. Who will win? Who will crash and burn? Can 'Uncle Jack' Kriegel manage a half decent week? The chances are he can't but I have to keep saying it even though he DEFINITELY won't. I can't be any more categorical about this. Anyway, Tune in on Tuesday for the final awards of the 2012 regular season.
